An awful lot of them had equipment in them last week, it’ll be even more this week. I’m going to offer up that if weather allows for harvest unabated, 80%+ will be off by pheasant opener.

I recall lots of years where pheasant opener had LOTS of beans still standing.

Beans will be done and corn will be 50%-75%, Sunflowers 25%-50% for that magical pre-rut time for archery hunters.

All just predictions from a guy who doesn’t and never has farmed. I just drive a lot.

Some stick with their rotation but I know some that planted beans because of high fertilizer costs for corn and other crops. Next year could be worse for everything being planted to beans if fertilizer and fuel are as sky high as some analysts are forecasting.
