No hunting success for her yet but she did "kill" a couple beer cans and a can of corn.

Both my daughters were along for the stalk and success of my Montana antelope. They both insisted on helping skin and quarter it.

Did they & you ever get that prairie-goat stink off the hands? YUK!
haha, they asked why it stank and I didn't have an answer for them besides that they just do. Curiosity got the best of them though when I was done and they needed to see what was in its stomach. I stood upwind before I let them poke the knife in.

One step closer to the end.

Love it.
Yep, want/need to know what they are eating.
Learning.

Well, we spent the entire day trying to get Jack a deer and we struck out. We headed in an hour before shooting light and had a doe and fawn on the bait, but they left 15 minutes before shooting time. We saw a total of 9 deer, but the closest they would come was about 270 yards which is a bit much for Jack. Saw too many rooster pheasants to count and even had one waltz by at about 2 ft from Jacks window. Had a good time, even though it was a bit disappointing in the end. Next up is the young lady the last week of season for a buck. Wish us luck!!

I like your style KDM, keep them young'uns interested. I got a new name from my 10 year old grandson....No Shot Grandpa, cause I wouldn't take a plus 400 yard shot with my 6mm.
