Shout out to pahlke steel. Twice now they've given me exactly what I needed. $5 was the bill this time. No joke. And they punched the 1/4" screw holes exactly where they needed to be. 3/16" plate steel as a backer to the minn Kota quick release 'puck'. I wasn't going to roll with just the washers against the underside of my plywood deck. Why not you ask? Can't say for sure..... It was basically free considering the 1/4" drill bits I undoubtedly saved and the cuss jar contributions that would've occurred. Leftover can of spray paint finished the job with about 5 coats of flat black krylon.
