I have to ask why? What is the reasoning for it? Driving? Just don't like holding the phone? There might be other solutions and you won't need to look like a d bag.

My Ram has phone system so no, not for driving.

I often have 1-2 hour long conference calls with gov't or clients.

I recently bought headphones for my landline and it's superior to holding a handset up agianst your sweating/aching ear for hours.

Speaker phone sucks for iphone convos too - so I'm looking for headphone for when I have a long convos on my iphone on occasion.

I will only try to help if you wear it in public areas like restaurants by yourself and speak extremely loud while talking like you're a big deal.

I have been told the Bose is one of the best ones out there but I think they are discontinued. Unfortunately I have been considering the same thing for driving and to free up a hand for tech support when I need to handle equipment at the same time. I wouldn't want to wear it all the time but sometimes it would be handy.

The simple IPhone ear buds with speaker(usually come with the phone) work pretty good. I always feel like blue tooth style don't have quality speakers so it's hard to hear conversations, but I never seem to have an issue the apple products. I would give them a try and they won't set you back a ton of cash. There are some really good blue tooth options if you want to spend the $$, but as a personal choice I have never liked them.

I have had good luck with stuff from Plantronics at work. I haven't tried out a Bluetooth set, but the wireless ones for the office phone have been quite good.

My bluetooth ear buds only cost $6000' ReSound Linx2 hearing aids. You can stream from your phone (never done it yet), listen to your calls without holding the phone to your ears and adjust the hearing aids from your phone.

Just look what many of you have to look forward to. Yes all of my hunting friends have them.

Thumbs Up

I wore ear muffs for the vast majority of my hunting/shooting life. I learned from older relatives who told me not to f up my ears when I was a kid because they f'd theirs up by not wearing protection.

Nurses who test my ears hit on me all the time when they find out I have the ear drums of a Greek god.

Yeah- earpieces are douchey.

I gotta say though - the corded earbuds hanging out of every skater, hipster, backpack wearing person is getting to me too.

Do they never ever just listen to the world rather than what's streaming out of the smartphone?

Get hearing aids...problems solved.....lol....I am hard of hearing so I where two aids, have the Iphone 6 wtih bluetooth. I have the Starkey Halo and it streams the phone call straight to the aids, the phone even rings in my ear, so i don't have to put the phone to my ear. I can hear either way, but this is way neater. I intend not to let people know of my hearing disabilities, as I was taunted pretty, bad when I was in elemtnetary school..teased, bullied called names you name it, but I stood my ground to the point I almost got kicked out of school for fighting back. I just feel people look down on people with disabilities and think they are dumb and whatever. Technology has come along way and these have been the best aids I've owned so far, expensive..yes..but worth it.

And for the curious..I was born partial deaf, along with the loss of sight in left eye...all due to my mother having the measles.
I am just like rest of you guys, like all the guy stuff, woman, boobs, fast cars, fishing, hunting and racing. And yes I can drive, 28 yrs citation free and raced stock cars for 18 years.....Ah oh,,,think I hijacked the thread...sorry man...
