Stainless steel is great for cooking many things. But frying is not. At least for me. Supposedly if you get the pan hot enough before adding the meat it shouldn’t stick. Something I apparently can’t do. I like the cast iron for frying.
Late season they spook a half mile away. I’ve seen it many times.
Back in the late 70’s, early eighties this was the hay day for grouse.

I've seen groups that big right North of Beach. Several times. About the second week of November. Not in the last few years as numbers are diminished. I have been told that North of Beach they are scarce this year.
