    I still haven't shot a turkey and sure wish I could shoot the one that's been in my yard the last few days, but unfortunately no beard. Not sure if it's got some barn yard in it or what, but it's about half white. The colors on it are very cool. No doubt I'd mount it if I could take it......

    Well said................so KDM, if you're willing to do this and one issue is the equipment to fill tanks. Would a gas powered pump be the easiest/quickest way to fill? I'll donate $50 towards a new one....hopefully others will as well.

    I would agree it's no big deal as long as I had the confidence that their systems wouldn't get screwed up. They ask for people to apply for the proper licenses as soon as possible to guarantee we have our tags before opener. But wait, not before March 15th, which I did..........still no tag in...

    Brings up something I've wondered about. Seems like all I hear about is the south end and the mouth of the Red. Anybody ever tried that Traverse bay and the mouth of Winnipeg River for late season ice?
