Spot the pine martin,loading up winter fuel clearing down trees for new ski runs in Breckenridge, this sassy little guy came along with a nasty attitude, growling and hissing, showing his teeth,my friend who lives here loves animals he wouldn't let me whack this little monster, he said this pine Martin keeps the squirrel population in check,told him so does my .22,got the stink eye back.

Iv'e been giving them a free pass, so far I haven't had a problem with them but my boy was deer hunting and one came in and wrecked the hunt . If it would have been me he would have had a welt from a marble.

We have had many encounter's with these sassy little some beeches,watching one one day in the back country of N.E. mn (BWCA wilderness area) they are lighting fast...squirrels are no match for the carnivorous eating machines,watched as a p.m. caught a little red squirrel making a run for it once squirrel was caught,off came the head within seconds,body of squirrel was gone in short order.
