Seems like that happens every year when we get the cold snapLooks like the bird flu is hitting the snows hard down south. Seen pics of 1000s dead.
Seems to happen more frequently on years with big hatches as well. A lot of the birds you see sick are young birds. I took a spin by rice lake just before ice off last year and there were probably 1000-2000 frozen into the ice. A lot of grey feathers on the snowsSeems like that happens every year when we get the cold snap
