grew up on the manitoba border, you legally cross the border find said game drag it real close to the border, legally go back to the usa and grab said game. best bet is to find a farmer from there to help.

Good question....I'd say no.
Find a willing Canadian. Send them the pin to the deers location. Have them drag it right to the border and you reach across and grab it. Done.

Its like the day I found out the tooth fairy was just some hobo stealing teeth

So if there has to be perfect Grammar, Sentence structure, Spelling, etc......
Give me the boot now!
He who is so flipp'n perfect in every way. STAY! And this site will just be a dusty memory.
Grammar structure is in no way shape or form the basis of intelligence, being able to comprehend what is said will always be. Those who continue to use the grammar speal usually use very little of the latter.

Its ok db-2 we understand that change sucks and it only sucks the older we get, with that being said, we also know that we weren't there when you talked to the new land owner and we dont know what was said and how it was told. Some of us have made brash choices when change becomes so sudden, I don't know the nd guy but i know you and i believe that a confrontation did happen and i know that some people don't like to share with others. It would have been nice if the original land owner had reached out to you, to tell you he was selling his land and could have possibly made arrangements for you to have met him before this confrontation happened it could have saved both parties unwanted stress. Those pics showed a man, assuming it was you with an unhappy face, doing things because you felt disrespected somehow.

Majority of the people who come on this site to share their life experiences with complete strangers, usually dont do those things out of spite unless one feels disrespected somehow. Im not justifying your behavior and im not judging you, because we all have done things we regret and its what we do after words is how we measure what a real human is. I'm sorry this has happened to you and I'm sure its not an easy place to start all over with what you have created on this land, but leaving this site because you feel embarrassed is just plain assisinine especially since this site has complete anonymity, unless you are a member who threatens to dox your personal information after you share your name to them.

So stay and chalk it up as a simple mistake that can be fixed if one has the capacity to do so, reach out to the old land owner, the new land owner and have an old fashion sit down and come to some kind of agreement going forward, if an agreement cant be done. You come out a better person because of it, so stay, share, and experience this site together because you never know it could all be taken away it an instant.

This is what I know as a casual poster, faithful weekly observer of the site since FB:

Fiction- DB has always played a retired middle class/poor veteran, who liked to tell stories about boobies and old times at the bar . Has a paradise up north for shooting big bucks but never pulls the trigger.

Non Fiction- It comes out he’s still the VP of a bank, on the city council. Likes to harass other hunters. Don’t think he’s hurting for Money. He owns 1.3 acres of a slice of land but thinks the whole quarter is his.

Sums up the whole world we live in. Never know what is up or down.

If everyone had to use their real names it’d be different. Guaranteed.

However I’m assuming we’d have 1/2, maybe less, the members.

In all of my years on ND outdoors sites and beyond it’s always been the same shit. It won’t change

You are mostly correct. I have gotten a lot of great information from here. I can ask questions and get very good answers. And have meet a few wonderful people.

So maybe I need to clean up my act. And be serious all the time.

But that will cut down on the clicks. Which if everyone did maybe the site may close.

My name is johnr, and I have met a ton of guys from our ND outdoor web sites. I am the same jackass in person as I am on here, anyone that has met me would agree. My life has been full of stories that are better than fiction. I may on a rare occasion exaggerate a tale, but mrs johnr and I live life as though its our only one, because of course it is.

If I say you suck, you probably do... haha.

I believe his real name is Jif

After thorough investigation and exploration of history, the conclusion is clear: there has never been a man called “Jiffy.” The persistent belief in its existence is a testament to the power of suggestion, the fallibility of memory, and the enduring appeal of Jif.

The “Jiffy” mystery serves as a reminder that our memories are not always reliable records of the past. They are constantly being reconstructed and reinterpreted, shaped by our experiences, beliefs, and emotions. While “Jiffy” may not exist in reality, it lives on in our collective imagination, a creamy, nutty ghost of a man that never was.
