I have all raised beds so the ground warms up faster and alot of blankets to cover just in case

Mine is on a hill and side hill, I worked it shallow and the top 3'' dry as a bone , any deeper and pulled dry chunks. The lower ground was nice and mellow with good moisture. I was going to plant it all to pumpkins today but it's snowing now.

Been working every year adding more tubs and pails cause I know in the future I am not going to be able to walk much so making it golf cart friendly. So far I have 81 tubs, 37 tires and 43 pails Also 23 3x8 ground frames with fabric on one side. LB

I'm seeding all pumpkin and squash this year mostly for the cover crop to smother weeds so I'm not in a hurry. I ran across something I've never tried , if it works it will be pretty neat.

I soak my beet seeds over night before planting and also buy my carrot seeds pelletized, really makes a difference to this blind old bustard. LB

not me, I did transplant my tomatoes and peppers into half gallon pots and they are outside now tho. I tilled my garden on saturday, will probably try to get potatoes in fairly soon.

Have had most of my stuff in for a week or more. Just put in the cuke and pumpkin plants last Friday. Taters are up already!

according to google earth, about 5 years, it was planted from a soil conservation apple tho, that was only a foot or two tall.
