the middle one was made in 1938 and stayed the same until the early 50's as I under stand it.

Is the brass actually a Winchester? Or, is it a Henry, Uberti, or other Winchester clone? An honest to goodness ‘66 in that condition could find a retirement.

THAT was the essence of my ^^^^ query. It's awful damn bright. I'm not even sure I could distinguish a '92/'94.
