N of Mandan out by Harmon Lake. I think I’ve had about .60 since the 2nd of July. Even the rains that have hit Bis-Man in town have missed us

I live on north hill in Minot. My sump pump has not shut off for more than 5 minutes for the past two days.

Rugby its been even worse. Those poor people can't catch a break. Basements flooded, some basements caved in from the first deluge. Now it keeps pouring on them. No one had flood insurance so insurance companies won't pay. I can't imagine trying to get someone to fix your caved in basement before winter and it keeps raining and filling it back in.

Seems to be feast or famine this year for rainfall. Here at the fort we are the famine side of the equation. The gravel on the roads has loosened up and started to move due to the lack of moisture to hold it together. The crops are in such poor shape I think the corn will be harvested by the end of the month in one form or fashion. Neighbor chopped his corn for silage, which I haven't seen done in years around here.

1 inch for yesterday up here in the northeast, by the looks of it you wouldn't even know we got a monsoon rain in nust a few hours, the ground swallowed it right up. Beet farmers had a tough time digging for the preharvest, this should help.

I really havent been north. I do know plenty that commute from up north and I have heard nothing mentioned about road issues or Willow Creek being super high. I also think that area missed some of the inches Rugby received.

I live in Willow City and our farm is a few miles SE of town. Were sitting over 8 inches there in the last 2ish weeks. Crick east of willow that flows thru one of our pastures is currently higher now than during spring thaw/runoff. As of now I bet we have 500 hay bales sitting in water when a month ago we couldn't buy a drop of rain. I have plenty of friends and family in rugby who are having water issues and it doesn't look like its going to end any time soon.

Don't let crackpots get you caught up in such stuff. The turbine blades only extend a few hundred feet up in the air. Most rain, especially thunderstorms, see rainfall being developed at around 7,000 to 20,000 feet above ground. I can assure you that those wind turbines have absolutely zero effect on where rain falls.

Uggh, standing water and hay is not good. Been there and done that.
