Tweren’t a joke from me.

Gets proven over and over, if food, fuel, utilities, and social services stop, we’re all <5 days from hunky-dory to armed defense of everything you own and a barter economy.
I understand that and 100% agree with your original comment.

The U.S. as a country has learned what happens when a country becomes dependent on imported food for survival. Starving one's enemy has long been a proven weapon and the U.S. long ago became determined to not let that happen to its citizens.

My understanding is that this is more of a citizen lead issue than government
It is an example why I’m voting YES on measure 1 also
Doesn’t matter who’s leading it. It sends the signal to Bismarck we want everything tax the shit out of us we don’t care

It just occurred to me recently that I never ate breakfast in school in Jamestown. I don’t even know if that was even an option. Give me a thumbs up if you ate breakfast in school when you were a kid.

Always ate lunch at school for the first 8 years. Mother or father made lunch for the early years. I made my own in the later years. In the winter a couple of days during the week the neighboring mothers would make a hot meal in one of the big electric roasters.

Nobody ever missed a meal. And no one ever complained about the food.

All 8 grades in the school.

Ya
I wonder what are the chances that once everyone’s meals are free and payed for by the taxpayer that the price of the lunches will go up?
Ya think? lol. It would make far more sense to take that same money and increase teacher pay with it. Then maybe we wouldn’t have a teacher shortage
