No hunting success for her yet but she did "kill" a couple beer cans and a can of corn.
Both my daughters were along for the stalk and success of my Montana antelope. They both insisted on helping skin and quarter it.
haha, they asked why it stank and I didn't have an answer for them besides that they just do. Curiosity got the best of them though when I was done and they needed to see what was in its stomach. I stood upwind before I let them poke the knife in.Did they & you ever get that prairie-goat stink off the hands? YUK!

Well, we spent the entire day trying to get Jack a deer and we struck out. We headed in an hour before shooting light and had a doe and fawn on the bait, but they left 15 minutes before shooting time. We saw a total of 9 deer, but the closest they would come was about 270 yards which is a bit much for Jack. Saw too many rooster pheasants to count and even had one waltz by at about 2 ft from Jacks window. Had a good time, even though it was a bit disappointing in the end. Next up is the young lady the last week of season for a buck. Wish us luck!!
Great picture! Where did you get your dog?
