Ohio mayor says ice fishing leads to prostitution

I like it! Sort of like Airbnb or a timeshare. Or like those hair cutting shops where the barbers rent the chair space.

The official I Did That scavenger hunt

I saw one in Tampa when we were there on vacation last week, but didn't get a picture. Someone tried to tear it off but the silhouette was left behind, so there was no question what it was.

    Holiday go to.....

We had pigs feet growing up, but they were smoked (ham hocks) and we had them with sauerkraut and dumplings. My wife's family is very Norwegian, and when we had pigs feet at her family's house, it definitely was not what I expected. I was not impressed.

    Ping Pong Balls

I used to work with a guy that was stationed there while in the Navy. No shortage of stories there. Holy cow. Ping Pong balls out of the catchers mitt would have been one of the more family friendly stories.

    The American Crow

They are very smart birds. I used to work at a cemetery and my boss told me of his 'pet' crow. There was a guy smashing at the ground with a weedwacker and he went to see what's going on. There was a crow the guy was trying to kill with the weedwacker. He nursed it back to health and it...

    Sharptail Recipes?

I never liked it, always just felt obligated to eat it since I shot it. A couple of years ago I had some, frozen, and made fajita meat with it alongside some steak and chicken. I'd have never guess which bowl was emptied first. I actually liked it too, and preferred it over the beef and...

    That’s fantastic.

    Dewalt cordless lawn tools.

I bought my M18 trimmer as an anger purchase. I had a Husky commercial weedeater that started having carb trouble. Cleaned carb, installed new kit for carb, installed new carb, tuning, plugs, coil, nothing would get it to run right. Finally I got frustrated with it and ran to ACME and bought...

    Rooster Time!

I was hunting SE ND once a few years back, at the refuge that's down there. We were packing back up in the truck and two guys pull into the parking area with a little mini doberman type dog in the front middle seat, looking through the windshield. I kind of watched while they got ready and we...

    ND Vehicle Registration Renewal?

I agree with the premise. While I'd assume you would be honest, and I would be honest, not everyone's honest and I think that's why it is the way it is. It sucks how messed up things get as laws try to close opportunities for scumbags. If they did this, I think they would have to increase the...

    20 Gauge

Haha love the nickname. Liza graces me with one retrieve per season. I can describe all of them in great detail over her 7 hunting seasons she has had. The best was when I dropped a rooster in a slough and I looked at her, she looked at me, and got this frustrated "FINE, I'll get the damn...

    20 Gauge

That sounds like a riot! Your hit percentage is quite a bit better than mine. I am way out of practice. I missed out last year due to caring for my Mom with cancer, and this summer haven't had a chance to practice at all until very recently as we were doing a bunch of work on our house, so I...

    Got Doves?

Damn good thing I had an empty gun then, I thought it opened on the 4th. Thank you for clarifying.

    Got Doves?

Well my son talked me into trying one more spot. We walked back into some PLOTS land a little bit and saw a couple jump out of some bare black dirt in a big grassy area between cornfields, so we set up our decoys and waited. If my aim was a bit more true we could have had quite a few, but we...

    Got Doves?

My son and I tried our hand at this today. Figured it was something we could do while we are supposed to stay away from others. Tried hanging out by some sunflower fields and water holes but no luck yet. We will be trying again tomorrow.

    20 Gauge

Actually I'm not doing too bad. I'm guessing it started Friday night last week, as I woke up and felt cold. That should have been a red flag, I run cold so it always feels too warm for me, I probably had a fever. But I added a blanket and went back to bed. I slept off and on, not very well...

    20 Gauge

Welp, found out this afternoon I've got the dreaded Covid, so we won't be going shooting real soon. My wife did pick up some golden pheasant 20 gauge shells at the GF Scheels yesterday so at least we're good there. They only had #5. Hopefully next week everyone's healthy and we can try...

    20 Gauge

Thanks for all the replies so far, I was going to stop into the Outdoorsman but we missed it closing by 10 minutes on Saturday. Scheels did have lots of ammo, but no light loads that I found. Seems like everyone has 12, 16, and even 28 gauge but not much for 20. .410 is even more scarce. I...

    20 Gauge

We just bought my Son a 20 gauge as he completed his hunter safety class earlier in the spring. I don't own any 20 gauges, so don't have any ammo for it. I had been seeing 12's on the shelf here and there so figured I'd be able to get something that would work, when we needed it. Boy was I...
