    Maybe its because I generally only use ramps that are primarily used by fisherman rather than the recreational crowd, but I feel like ramps have actually been calmer over the years compared to what they used to be where I frequent. Its been along time since I've seen a shouting match.

    I think the house finch used to just be in SW US and Mexico, but have expanded their range. For at least the past 5 years I've had them around my house consistently in Bismarck. I think they nest in my neighbors evergreens.
