    Damn Wind!

Oh absolutely! I don't want to waste time with bleach and water in the garbage can, when the lawn needs to be taken care of! It takes me enough time to slip into my jorts, lace up the white New Balances, trim the pristene green in that just-so-righ pattern. Then I have to kick back with Chad...

    Tough little buggers

I have first hand experience in something like this as well. Heading back to NDSU for school, I was driving down Highway 12 going about 70 and a doe jumped out of the ditch on my passenger side. Saw her just a half-second prior to the impending impact. She hit the front fender on the...

Dave Bender. Can Clean. Summertime he sets up to come by once a month and they do a great job. Worth their weight in gold if you're not a big fan of horendous smells; ie diapers, minnows, fish guts.

    McQuades Weekend

Reminds me of the Kevin Costner version of Robin Hood--- where Little John thought he was drowning and simply had to stand up. We can laugh about it now--- but for a minute there your comment about me swimming could have almost been on the "That time I should have died" thread.

    Spoons, again...

The day before we had our second son, DirtyMike gave me tip to go to a lake that was having a bit of a rumbling walleye bite. I took my brother and father-in-law with. My father-in-law was not convinced there was even walleye in this lake, but he tagged along--- with his "pike" rod, complete...

    Big 3 Results are Out.

I had an M10 tag last year. I was up scouting one weekend and saw a nice bull a bit northwest of Minot. The land it was on wasn't posted, but I found out who's it was. I drove up to their farm to visit and see if they'd seen any nice moose or if anyone had a tag. Turns out the farmer himself...

    Casting Slow-Death

I've actually had quite a bit of success with these when fishing from my kayak. They do tend to get tangled a bit when trying to cast them however.

    Parents beware

Regardless of the hoax. The picture of that "mother bird" sculpture and the context of the videos themselves are ridiculously unnerving to look at and think about... So it's more like a monster under the bed, compared to money in Nigeria. Fake nonetheless, but probably quite scary to younger...
