    Little known gotcha's in life

Waiting on some cash rent myself. Guess I'm willing to be patient with everything else that is going on. In most cases, getting behind in cash rent is not a good idea but can imagine most businesses are getting a little behind in funding. In my case I don't owe any payments so a month or two...

    Little known gotcha's in life

I still like to go into my bank occasionally to see what new young tellers they've hired. Never use my bank card except at an ATM for cash. Never use it like a credit card and most of my deposits are automatic deposits. Those checks that are for different jobs, etc. I just cash. Prefer not to...

    Ticks are out

Used to have a pair of hunting pants for turkey hunting that had ties at the bottom. Made a huge difference in ticks. Unfortunately, crawling over barbwire fences over the years made them less tick proof. I also don't bring any outer wear clothing indoors until the season is over unless they are...

anyone care to hazard a guess....

Do any of you remember a few years ago when Marco Rubio was getting bad press for him owning an $80,000 fishing boat in Florida? I laughed as I thought about how many of those boats were in this state. I don't own one but am one who likes new trucks and a nice car for my wife.

    Tigerking!

Had to watch it after all the discussion. Not sure how I made it to the end. Must have been hoping something real would happen. At the end I was convinced that they all were some crazy, mixed up, sobs. Since I'm pretty much staying at home anyway I can't say I wasted the time from something...

    Wild Game processing

$1000 to process a moose? Must be making a lot of pepper sticks and summer sausage. Those are where the costs get high. Just to butcher into steaks, roasts and burger should not be that high. It will pay to look around some and get some estimates. Congrats on the tag and good luck. P.S...

Evoy launches the world's most powerful electric outboard motor

Interesting. I would love this on my pontoon where I mostly cruise around on a smaller lake, sipping (or gulping) a beer and enjoying a nice summer day. Quiet would be so nice if the batteries last for a day and charge overnight. Running out of battery would not be much of a problem as I would...

Trailer Upgrades, Bunks, Tires and Jack.

Corrosion made it look like you were in and out of saltwater. Should be in good shape for awhile. My experience fixing some things is that I wonder if engineers who design things ever have to work on them. The good news sounds like you didn't lose any fishing time during the repair.

    Roosters

Don't have any roosters but do have a trio of squirrels that provide a lot of entertainment. 2 will eat together but won't let the third in for bite. The 3rd squirrel seems to always have to eat alone. A couple deer came back last week and pretty much cleaned up the corn that was left. Squirrels...

    Cancel Turkey Season?

Most likely they don't have their General Game license. Need that before they send out the turkey tag. Available online.

    Over the counter turkey tags??

^^^^^ Guessing those 300 turkeys weren't all bearded turkeys. The only bird you're allowed to shoot in the spring.

Non Resident license reduction time for fishing? hunting?

I have always been a supporter of non-residents since I frequently travel out of state to hunt and fish. That was in normal times, this is not normal times. Lots of snowbirds coming back are required to quarantine for 14 days, why not non-resident fisherman. In the DL area most of those...

    New Weapon

First I've heard of monkeys doing that but bet it's funny as hell when you're watching instead of being a target.

Well this is going to get interesting

Thought I read earlier that it was a judge in Washington. Didn't go back to double-check.

    Considering Camper Remodel

Have never done one but the first place I might start would be a camper supply store. Might find some nice ideas that will lead to a good remodel. If possible buying some pre-made stuff might bee easier as some campers are very thoughtful about using space the most economically.

    Spring snows

Wait a minute. Crossing into Canada? Is that considered necessary travel?

    Old Buildings ND

Back in the day during the summer there was nothing better than an old fallen down building for firewood, a keg, and all surrounded by trees so the party wasn't visible and hopefully enough good-looking girls to make it interesting.

    Corona Virus....How Long?

I'm with KurtR and think we have people who aren't taking the social distancing seriously which will slow the progress down. Want to do open water fishing as that keeps people pretty well separated and can go with one or two who I know have also been very fussy about who they have been around.

    Lock Downs....

I'm retired so my day hasn't changed other than I don't go out very often. Am very tired of watching the news. Wonder if anything other than the coronavirus is happening in the world. It's necessary to keep informed but also very tiring. I'm older and that should allow me to be a little...

Time to buy a new pickup?

When I made the purchase agreement I signed for that purchase. That locked in the discounts, etc. Could have waited for delivery and gambled on what programs were available at that time. This was a GM purchase, not Ford. Don't know the difference between companies and dealers. Have been a long...
