    Long Sleeve Fishing Shirts

I started with a crew neck Simms, but have switched to the hooded version. They are super nice and definitely keep you cooler than even going shirtless. Also keeps the bugs off on those hot calm days on Sak.

    Pellet Grills and Smokers

I threw a lump of pork on the Rec-Tec this morning, I'm kind of getting used to this work from home thing :;:rockit So far no problems with the Rec-Tec after 3 years. Didn't know Weber came out with a pellet, boy that thing doesn't have great reviews even on their own website.

Slow your ass down and pay attention!

If i made a habit of fishing at night i would definitely have some very visible LED's installed on my boat, and a spot light at arms reach to strobe a boat if it was coming at me.

Best places to fly fish in ND

To just get some casting in close to Bismarck, McDowell is an option for blue gill and some bass and trout. For better luck for trout, fish creek can be decent at times.

    High speed pit maneuver

Seems really stupid to pursue for just blowing through a stop sign, especially on a busy hwy. Trooper is lucky he or an innocent person wasn't killed. Probably will be lawsuits by the drivers family for excessive force.

    Chase Amazon Credit card nightmare

Yeah the reality is the Scheels card isn't that great, unless your a guy that uses those gift cards to hide purchases from your wife, which doesn't seem to be your issue. I'm a fan of Capital One Venture, 2x points on everything and super easy to redeem points. 50,000 point bonus right now...

    Coal Creek

Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't most of these coal plants well past their useful life which is also adding to the increase maintenance cost? I mean MDU is retiring their plants and replacing them with NG generators because they claim its half the cost of continuing to run the outdated coal...

    Coal Creek

Are they supposed to continue operating at a loss? People can blame wind all they want, but the reality is dirt cheap NG as a byproduct of fracking has probably had the biggest impact on coal becoming uneconomical.

    New river boat.

Sure would be fun for a weekend. I saw another one of their boats built with Mercedes AMG has twin 1550hp inboards, and will do 140 mph! Suck my wake Rangers! https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-02-15/mercedes-benz-unveils-the-2-million-amg-cigarette-racing-boat

Slow your ass down and pay attention!

Yeah for some reason everyone thinks a tiller is the way to go on the river. I have one too for a river boat, but when it comes to being able to see where you are going while trying to not hit sandbars, logs, boats etc...they kind of suck. Sitting in the back of a boat looking around another guy...

Slow your ass down and pay attention!

Cripes, it would be interesting to know the full story there. Where did it happen, was it foggy out, was one boat overtaking a boat and hit him, was the hit boat just sitting there, did the hit boat take off without looking and got hit... I would agree that some people are going to fast, but...

    Little known gotcha's in life

Allen, two words...“Mobile deposit”. All these brick and mortar banks are going to go the way of the dinosaur, so you might as well get used to it. Hell I haven’t stepped foot into a bank since I refinanced my house 8 years ago.

    Deadliest Catch

Its my understanding that they either take the price offered at the dock and get the immediate money, or they can take it to the auction themselves and hope for more. Much like many other commodities, i think bluefin is bought and sold multiple times until it reaches the consumer.

    Deadliest Catch

Yeah a wicked Tuna boat would be more my style, having said that if somebody said i could just jump on a crab boat for one trip and ride in the wheel house id still jump on in a heartbeat, probably the Cornelia. I've been out in some pretty nasty ocean swells and have never been sea sick, even...
