    If I recall correctly the hull on the 219 and 209 were tweaked different years. They put a small step on the back of the hull to decrease chine walk and to stabilize the overall ride quality. I cant recall for sure but I believe my 2014 209/300 was pre-tweak and hit about 66 mph 2 guys fully...

    Straight into them or slight cross I can run in legit 2s+ wide open with motor tucked and get mid 50s. Anything other than that I would consider abusing me and the equipment which I do not like to do. A lot of factors are in play like wave spacing, etc.

    No load, 1/2 tank, 2 people I have hit 72.4 with 400 Verado in a 219 on LOZ in Missouri and 72.2 on Sak with a different 219 but similar load . Numerous factors played into better than average top end.

    I only respond because there were question marks? I also read, to paraphrase, everyone has their opinion. My personal opinion is this (solely for my wife and I). We love fishing. We do not travel (unless it is fishing related), dont frequent bars, rarely gamble, live in a modest home, etc...

    The Triton plant and Ranger plant are not far apart. I assume this is both a decision of logistics and cost savings. The Ranger plant is a much newer facility as well.

    Unsubstantiated at this time... Reports a pro fished in a zone which had a slot and kept a limit of overs. Didn't allow his Co to touch a rod for most or all of the day. Also, crawlers taken from US into Canadian waters.
