    Deep Fried or Pan fry Walleye........

    Wet fillets with Frank's Hot Sauce, roll in and pat on crushed Cheez-it crackers, and pan fry in cast iron/ veg. oil 1/2" deep. Dust the fried fillets with onion salt and lemon pepper......YUM!

    AS of 4pm 2/16 (Thus), ramp was good, sand up top as needed, 14 trailers parked, most downstream at coal veins, some fish, but nice. Wingwalls where really slow--few fish! A few boats out in front of honey hole just before main current also.

    It amazes me that no names or details have been released by the Rolette Cty sheriff's dept nor county states attny on the fatal 1/22/2017 home invasion shooting just outside Rolla. Must be some "special circumstances" involved.

    I too am not waterfowls' greatest fan, but I must say this one has my interest way up there. Brining adds moisture and draws out some of the gamey tastes--sounds like a gourmet winner!
