I can't believe stupid shit they come up with

From the first comment there are a couple things that stick out to me, as well as some of the other comments. First is that it appears this expenditure is a result for the Parks and Recreation budget. If so I'm guessing the Parks and Recreation requested the expenditure in a line item, not as a...

    bison upset duke...

A person can say Virginia had an easy route in the bracket and never had to beat anyone. Perhaps not, but they had to beat someone who beat someone. Tournaments are won by a team who played well when they had too. Oh, by the way, all this knowledge comes from someone who is not a passionate BB...

    SB 2315 - In Cmte 3/14 - ACTION REQUIRED!

Now this seems to be a real case of "violation of property rights." How can anyone talk about loss of property rights when a property owner cannot sell their land to that highest bidder?

    Hunter safety in Minnesota schools

WTH, are you kidding me. What could they possibly find offensive in the Hunter Ed. Book? What's even sadder is that the ACLU would take someone to court over the color of a student's hair but would not find anything wrong with this situation. Hunter Ed books are not porn. Could never figure out...

What is your best photos for the year so far

^^^ LOL, Nope, retired freely. I'm betting there is hardly a guy on here who disagrees with the view of tight fitting jeans. Even us married guys can live with the rule of "Just because you're on a diet, doesn't mean you can't look at the menu."

What is your best photos for the year so far

The design on the pockets of that woman's jeans certainly add to the picture. Sorry for appearing to be insensitive, I have always liked the view of a nice pair of tight-fitting jeans.

    Hunter safety in Minnesota schools

The classes I teach are supported by the local school. Not by offering credit but we are allowed sue of a classroom as well as given permission to bring in guns. Never been a problem.

    Frozen in Ice Castle ideas?

Perhaps it is "lightly used", you have no idea how old this castle is. Nor do you know how often it was used. Now if it was listed as "been wet", then you may be a little more accurate. Kind of like exercise equipment, have you ever seen an ad for exercise equipment that didn't say "Just like...

    Work Boots

When fishing in a boat i like Crocs. Easy to wade in water if needed. For golf I like the spikeless shoes best. Usually wear sandals during the summer. In winter I go to tennis shoes mostly when headed downtown for the happy hour staff meetings. For hunting I do like Kennetreks and do wear...

    Here it is.....

Not arguing with losing hunting rights forever. The problem in cases like this is they have already proved that laws mean nothing to them. Very high monetary fines will hit them harder. When reporting, don't call them hunters, they are poachers and criminals. It's like calling a bank robber a...

    Waders

The Cabelas waders I bought were also the breathable and the reason I liked them is they had a "Stout" size. Stout is for people who are larger in frame and cut bigger. Very easy to get off and on. Wear some good heavy underwear underneath and have never been too cold to hunt. I also usually...

    Waders

Bought Cabelas brand waders more than 15 years ago and paid a little over $200 for them. Still use them although there is a slight leak in the crotch area. if water is deeper than that I usually send my grandson out lol. He's about 6-1 so he can handle it. I did take care of them. Don't cross...

    North Dakota has worst drivers

I guess I was wrong when I taught my kids how to drive. I never realized that was another parent responsibility that had been passed off to the schools. The only reason kids took Driver's Ed in rural areas back then was to satisfy an insurance company and it was required as written by the...

    How do you make sausage?

Pretty much the same as above. I do use exclusively pork butts. It seems that unless the butts are really fatty I can use the whole thing with venison or waterfowl and the sausage comes out with the right amount of fat. Also use prepared sausage seasonings and usually add pepper and garlic...

Best weekend of the year for college sports

If there was a bracket craze in wrestling like there is in BB most of them wouldn't have been real close. Biggest disappointment for me was Bo Nichal in the finals. Without a doubt the most dominating wrestler the past few years and he wrestled like he didn't care. He actually won pretty easily...

Question for you guys that own meat grinders

The cutting parts, blades and plates I store in a ziplock bag full of rice. Have never had a problem with rust. Rice is supposed to absorb moisture. Do make sure they are dry before storing so not sure if the rice makes a difference. Rice is cheap so I do ti this way. Have never replaced the...
