    East End Sakakawea

I was going to hit the east side on Sunday, but then remembered the Gov Cup was this weekend and decided I will wait for another calm day to hit the big lake. That and half my arm was still healing from some ink I had done on Thursday evening. After reading all the reports this year I really...

    audubone smallies

An as sometimes rather frequent McClusky Canal fisherman i can confirm that a 1/4jig with any type of powerbait will smash some bass. Topwater lures around this time of year should work well. Actually, if i'm being honest, about the only thing i haven't caught a smallie on yet is a daredevil...

    jigs...

I light the play of a 1/4 over an 1/8. I feel i can keep the jig closer to bottom and do more with it on the retrieve. 3/8 for deeper, windier days.

    Best fishing/boating shoes.

They are very comfy, IMO, once you get used to separated toes. Easy to wash and clean. Several different styles to choose from. I usually pick what i like from their site and them watch 6pm.com to find a steal..... usually get them anywhere from 40-65% off.

    Devil's suggestions?

Anyone have good shore fishing advice, or mainly spots to shorefish, on the lake. I'll be in the area the next two days and will have some time each day. I like to pitch jigs, not sure if thats effective from shore anywhere on this lake. I also have a nice dead stick set up. Would be much better...

    Best fishing/boating shoes.

Crocs if you prefer a loose fitting shoe. I prefer Vibram FiveFingers. They are toe shoes and tight fitting. They provide enough protection against all surfaces, have a good feel, and most importantly i'm not afraid to get them wet. I also run in them during the winter on a treadmill. It's all...

    Patience is a virtue

I struggle at times to get my pontoon on the bunks in a nice cross-winded day, but usually by myself and down the ramp, loaded, and off the ramp in 5-10min..... People like this are hilarious.

    Country Living

I wonder if deer is similar to bear? I've heard black bear tastes the best when you shoot one that's been feasting on berries.

    Country Living

It's one of the biggest reasons I wanted to move out of Bismarck and now commute an hour, one way, to work every day. Couldn't be happier the wife bought off on it. Ended up in a house twice the size for half the price with good fishing and hunting only 5min away.... I love my morning drives at...

    Woodhouse lake

I've heard good reports and the G&F netting report says there are alot of nice walleye in there, but i've never caught (ice fishing only). Hoping to get there on my kayak this summer and fish a couple different spots. Curious to see how she does if you throw in there.

    Bad motorcycle wreck

I was that guy doing wheelies and riding like a jackass until i was about 24 and had a kid. Slowed me down real quick and eventually got rid of the bike for a pontoon. Life is better now :) Still hope all turned out well for the riders. The one thing i liked my sport bike for was it's...

    Bis/ Man fire wood

If not supporting Glass' family just search firewood on bismanonline. You'll find at least ten different ads with people selling firewood. Usually between $100-200 a pickup box full.
