    Pheasants & Deer

I was up in Wells Co last week and saw at least a dozen henpheasants still running with roosters. I'm a bit concerned because they should be close to hatching by now. Could this mean coons or skunks have destroyed their firstattempt at nesting? Habitat is scarce. Lots of CRP has been taken out...

The stuff is an incredible nuisance, will drive you crazy. I had a major infestation in a patch of CRP and also at the edge of the tree rows. 3 years ago after a major rain I hand pulled that shit for two days. Cost me two days labor and a $50 chiropractor bill but it was effective. Root...

As of April 12 I still had pics of 6 different buck still carrying antlers. Of course I walked the land in late February and found the tell tale tracks of an ATV. Posted land be damned. Anyway, the herd looks good. I'm disappointed by the number of acres taken out of CRP and the miles of...

    2 person ladder stands

I have 3 Big Game 2 man ladder stands and 3 gorilla 2 man ladder stands. I like the Big Game as it has more room and I'm a big guy. I have no problem sitting with a mentor, plenty of room with both. I skirt the stand with camo to conceal the fidgiting of youngsters.

    Federal Government?

The same can be said for Cloverdale Meats in Mandan. They bring in these latinos who then bring in their non English speaking offspring and the property owners end up paying the bill to educate them.

Ever Take a 4yr old hunting????

I'm happy to say I'm 72, still hunting and can say my best memories involve youngsters. This year I got to return the opportunity to a young Dr (only 50) currently residing in Minnesota. I was welcome and eventually made part of the family on his parents ranch north of Carson many years ago...
