    Cool find metal detecting

Where you detect is sometimes not as easy as you may think. Lot of places don't allow digging up materials detected, then the trespass issue per a few friends that took up this hobby. From info I have gotten from them is don't go cheap. About $5-700 will get you a fair unit. (???) I haven't...

    Hoarders what should be done

Just heard on the radio this morning. One way Denmark is using to keep people from hoarding is the example they used was shampoo. The 1st one purchased is regular price, say it was $ 4.49, second purchased was $149.95. These were not the exact numbers used, but close. I'm on board with it.

West end sak where have the bigger Willie's gone theory!

Not exactly sure what it is but I think it has to do with high waters this season. I am retired now so have ample time to fish. My main bodies of water for ice fishing both perch and walleye just have not produced any bigger fish. I have only caught 2 walleye that would have been worthy of the...

What does a sno bear weigh?

This "was" just flat out "idiotic". Culvert has not froze up all year. Not sure what would make him think he could drive around it. There is open water right in front of culvert and then out about 30 yds. "Nobody" else does.

    Looking for Mr Heater advice

The O2 sensor will shut them down, but certainly don't rely on it for an overnight. You would have better off opening the Windows more and turning the heater up.

Dunham in Jmst is a graveyard also. Very few quality items. I guess they deal pretty good on firearms or they did when they first opened, from what I heard.

    Ice house break-ins

Would love to be sitting inside of a house in the dark when someone broke in. Jack one into a shotgun and watch them freakout.

I have the Chefs Choice 630. Have sliced "a lot" of meat for jerky . Tons of roast beef thin slice. The 615 gets a lot of good reviews also.

    Gee Loomis...

Was in a local sporting goods store a few years ago. Demo was a 20" piece of Stren 6# mono tied to the end eyelet of both a 7' med fast action Fenwick and a Loomis ( don't recall models). You would hold rod at arms length, turn head away from, and the Rep would flick the bottom of the string...

    WHY do we live here????

This is probably just actually a normal winter. Haven't checked records. But I think we just got spoiled for a few years that were really mild. The older one gets, the harder it is to tolerate though.
