Well, here she is fellas. Got the wings put on yesterday evening at the airport. We are beyond happy with how it’s turning out. Dad has about 800 hours into this one. Still have to run cables, put flaps and ailerons on, etc. Quite a bit of work left but the finish line is near. We were...

We will sand down the clear in the coming week or so, then will spray "silver" (UV protection coat), after that yellow color. Hope all you fellas are having a good summer. Last picture is...

    Pole Building

Prices have gone absolutely insane. We built that 60x130x14 horse riding arena in late 2019 for around $85,000. The property with the arena right now has a sale pending as we bought a new place close to "home" last week. We contacted the builder who put our barn up to get a rough quote so it...

    hunting ethics

I saw said video and was unimpressed to say the least. If you're going to post a video like that, you sure as hell can edit out the parts of the critter expiring while you stand over it for multiple minutes. Even while trying to grab the head to show off the trophy, the critter was still pumping...

We are officially putting the 1949 PA14 back together. Every nut and bolt taken out. Frame was sandblasted front to back. About 20 hours of sandblasting into this frame. That's 20 hours of blasting, add in time refilling the tanks and filtering the blasting media. Dad has a lot more patience...

    Shelter Belts

haha. Yeah, it's taking away valuable horse riding property for her. - - - Updated - - - One thing that a lot do not take into consideration when planting trees is the first winter and "tree burn". I hand planted about 250 2.5-3 foot evergreen and spruces about 5 years ago. We had a lot of...

    Shelter Belts

I got a 5000-6000 tree grant through the North Dakota Petroleum counc. I had to push my planting back a full year now due to covid and other reasons, but next spring we will diving in. This is a nice program through them. The trees and tree planter are provided. You provide a 60 hp+ tractor and...

    Traditions NitroFire Series Muzzleloader

Last year I drew my muzzy tag. I ended up going with the Remington 700 ultimate muzzleloader. Only shot it about 7-8 times so far, including killing my muzzy buck, but I am beyond happy with it. Have to clean it after every second shot or so or it gets just brutal tough to get a round loaded.
