    I need expert advice

Lotta "experts" around here... How many of you growing up played on a "tablet" while ice fishing with your dads, grandpas, uncles, etc? Whatever happened to just running/sliding around on the ice, throwing snow/ice chunks at siblings, or sticking your leg down the hole? Unfortunately I am...

Side by Side Polaris with tracks AND a Snow Plow?

Neighbor has one, has had his current one for a couple years, and had one before that, seems to do the trick. With tracks those things can push a shitload of snow.

    k drill

That hammer drill could very well come with a switch to go from hammer to regular drill so you may be able to kill 2 birds with one stone there. I've got a couple different hammer drills that can be used for both, just have to check if it's still the right amount of torque you need i spose...

Fishing With a Minnow on the Bottom?

Caught lotta fish on the jigging rod by just setting the jig on the bottom, letting line go slack, and just wait for the line to start moving around the hole or tightening. Lotta times that works well when you see them come look at the jig and any sort of jigging seems to scare them away, drop...

    Snowblower Attachment for Lawn Tractor

Unfortunately, I think you are probably asking for trouble trying to add a blower to your lawn tractor. My guess is you'll most likely end up with a disappointing blower in the winter and once perfectly good lawn mower that suddenly develops problems it never had before. If the tractor wasn't...

    Ice reports

Yep, i have'nt been out to look yet, but gotta believe the Devil had to skim over last night. Minimal snow and subzero temps for at least a week should put an inch or two on a day now for a while. Should be in line excellent layer of good, safe ice.

    Inverted/pull type snow blowers

Amazon Go, (minimum wage increase supportors)

Be a lot less theft if they monitor things closely for the first few weeks, and punish the first couple shoplifters appropriately- shit beat out of them, loss of hand, etc. Probably straighten things out pretty quick with minimal law enforcement involvement and no burden on the court/jail...

    Final 4, college football

I agree, that is one thing the FCS has figured out. A couple rounds of playoffs usually will make sure that the best team or teams get their fair shot at the title. Problem is, no matter how many teams that are included, there will always be the one or two teams that were on the bubble that...

    Popular kids Christmas gifts

I don't remember the last time I shopped for the kids for a christmas present; paid for a shitload of them though... If I see something outdoor related they need throughout the year- clothes, weapons, lures, rods etc., I usually get it at that time. Could get by working 1-2 days a week without...

    Rapalla Battery Fillet Knife

I've had multiple rapalas and berkley ions, have had shitty luck with all of them, thought maybe I just got lemons too, but a couple of each kind has to be more than bad luck. They should come with a single regular fillet blade to stick in and finish filleting fish because the battery only...

    Coyote numbers

Saw more coyotes in our area in 2I this year than ever before. Didn't go a day without seeing one or two. Used to be one or two a season. All the ones we saw and have seen on trail pics seem to look healthy.

    Alberta Muley Hunt

They charge in US funds or Canadian? Exchange rate puts 5-8k fairly reasonable.

What lake is famous for the dark gold walleyes?

I think Artery lake must be close to Gammon River, that's where I've flown in a few times. Not sure of the closest lake to there, it's on the MB-Ont border, right in the area they had some big forest fires last year. Some of the coolest looking black walleyes I've ever seen.

What lake is famous for the dark gold walleyes?

You looking for one lake in particular? I've caught quite a few walleyes that were almost black- looked like black/gold shad raps kinda- in a few different lakes in MB and SK.

    smoking a turkey

A good starting point is about 1.5-2 cups for 3 gallons of water. I don't usually measure anymore, just eye it up. We usually soak our deer jerky for a few days in this solution before adding any seasoning, seems to get most of the blood out and open the meat up some so it can really soak up...

    smoking a turkey

I've "smoked" quite a few wild turkey's that have turned out excellent. Just have cut off the entire breast plate and the legs/thighs, soaked them in a bucket in the fridge with water, tenderquick and liquid smoke. Soak for a couple days, put in a roasting pan with water in it and cover it...

A Recipe for Cured Wild Duck Breast

I'm not a real fan of duck, however tried something a few weeks ago that was very good. Had about 60 duck breasts, took all of the little strips off of the underside of the breast (not sure exactly what they are called) and soaked them in water and tenderquick for a couple days. Added a few...

    Bradley Electric Smoker

This is the one I'm considering, the flyer I got says it's supposed to be on sale this month at some point for $399, which makes it comparable or even cheaper than the high end masterbuilt ones. I guess I never checked prices anywhere else. I can't find much on there about lbs of meat it holds...
