    Toyota Tacomas

I'll keep it simple for you 1. Buy your wife an SUV of her choosing, as your family will benefit from the added convenience and you may benefit from her happiness 2. Unless you plan on fishing off the rocks with the hmongs or having a discussion with whipper about whose pencil-dicked rice...

Who is going fishing this weekend?!!! - is pelly ramp doable?

Lakewood dock is about 30mins +\- a few mins on a decent day to brinsmade bridge. No need to dump in at pelican to fish up there. I wouldnt mind seeing that ramp dry up.

    Mayweather- McGregor? What say you?

After seeing a few clips of their hype tour they had last month where they'd fill up press conferences and talk shit to each other and call each other names I think I'll pass. They most likely went back stage afterwards, had a drink together and laughed at all the stupid people that are going...

    New waterfowl ammo~

Just because I'm too lazy to do much research on my own, how does the speed of the HEVI-shot loads compare with steel? I've gotten so used to shooting steel shot for the past 15-20 years at 1500-1600fps I think it would be hard to adjust back to a slower load. I know a few years ago I tried...

    Chiropractic for a newborn

As i said in post #5. Chiros can do amazing things in the right hands. Lotta hacks out there with more graduating every year. If you go to a chiro that charges money up front and tells you how many times it will take to fix you before they even start, beware...

    2017 mn twins...

What's that? Buncha overweight 44yr olds throwing any sort of junk they can think of to find success, which is really good when it works, but pretty ugly when it don't?

    suspended walleyes on Sak

The deepest water below the thermocline will have very little life- bait/vegetation/walleyes, meaning most of it will be at or above the thermocline, including the walleyes, which means they will be suspended above the deep water. That's what I gathered anyway.

Little Girl Recovering from Musky Attack?

Ouch. Are musky teeth similar to pike teeth? Do they usually shake back and forth when they strike? I'd think if a fish did that, she'd have a lot more smaller cuts going both horizontal and vertical. Whatever it was, hope she heals up ok, looks like some of them injured seals I saw on shark...

    Patience is a virtue

I see exactly where you're going, that's why I still wonder about it sometimes. I figured at the time I'd rather piss the people off by doing that than wait in line and have the dock down to only 1 lane for 20 mins waiting. I can only imagine the ass chewing she would have gotten sitting there...

    new trolling rod

Got a couple St. Croix eyecon ECCO70MHM rods, they call them their "bounce and troll" rods. Supposed to be good for up to 3oz, been using them quite a bit lately with the water warming and they seem to do the trick, spend most of their time in the rod holders till a fish bites and the kids grab...

    Best fishing/boating shoes.

I got some Keens that I seldom wear around here but they are a pretty comfortable shoe that works very well when we go fly-in fishing and have to portage the boats, don't have to worry about wet feet as they dry quickly and don't have to worry about stepping on rocks in or out of the water. My...

    Patience is a virtue

Got my ass chewed by some guy at the Grahams island dock about 16 yrs ago when they only had 1 dock and no courtesy dock as the water had been coming up on a yearly basis at that point and they were always moving them. Very busy lake day, a storm was on the horizon and boats were lining up to...
