Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

I think you are taking what I am saying wrong. I’m not coming from the practical as much so as the technical side of it. All I’m saying is we can’t be 100% positive they weren’t trespassing if they were on or near the line onX is saying. The landowner was a prick and approached it wrong but he...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

Onx is using the best information they have available to them, it's the information they get and the gps in phones that have some error. It usually is pretty close but being on the wrong side of the property line is still trespassing if it is marked as such. Hunting antelope this year the gps in...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

Onx claims there is a chunk of public ground on the north side of Arroda lakes, it isn't public ground and instead private from everything I have found and my years of going off of plat guides. There is a large sign painted saying that it is private ground and no hunting right off of the...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

You can trust it and rely on it all you want, doesn't mean it is right. Land you own is no different on your lot in town or 2,000 acres in the country, you can't treat it any differently. All i'm saying is the hunters didn't know for positive whos land they were on if they were only going off of...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

So if onx says that your tree that is next to your neighbors property is on the neighbors property they can cut it down or if there is a deer on the opposite side of the fence but onx says it is on the other landowners land are you going to shoot it? I'm not saying I would have done anything...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

From my experience with any handheld gps is plus or minus about 2-3 yards. I’ve saved gps points on planted trees on onX and then when going back to them they were off by feet. I’m not saying it’s not damn close but it’s not perfect by any means. Like I mentioned earlier, no excuse for the...

Crazy Hunter Harassment Duck Hunting In North Dakota (Game Warden Involved!)

Not to stick up for the landowner as thats not how I act when I have to confront people, but onx and our phone gps isn't perfect. Unless you have a surveyed property line they may or may not have been on this farmers land. I don't think any of us would want our neighbors putting their fence or...

    Elk Bulls

Its weird you say that as I had a rag horn bull show up northwest of Bismarck for most of August and September. Then about 2 weeks after the bull showed up a cow showed up. As of last week she still was coming in randomly. Haven’t seen the bull in 2-3 weeks now but she stayed.

    Brought my new girl home

I've had good luck with 48.0gr of imr 4064 behind 150gr bullets of different types in my garand and a few others that we have shot the loads in. I had to go through a few different ones from the CMP to get one that I wanted. Mine is an early 1941 springfield armory receiver. I can't remember the...

    Knots...Braided to Mono

The line kept burying on the spool. I was chasing it down the beach and plucking the line out but it was something that I thought I was prepared for but obviously I wasn’t. That’s why I love saltwater fishing, never know what you will hook into at 4 in the morning with a fresh whiting head for...

    Knots...Braided to Mono

It took some practice but i was able to tie the FG knot no problem while trying to balance my uncoordinated self and all the gear in a kayak. The FG knot held up good enough that the new 50lb power pro broke before the knot did.

    Knots...Braided to Mono

I have had really good luck with the FG knot as well. I struggle with tying it using lighter pound test line though, but when I am using heavier leader line and main line it works well for me. Took a few tries to figure it out even watching the videos.

NDA Ammo and Reloading Component TRADE thread

Sweeney, I would be interested in the Retumbo if you are willing to trade for H4350. I think powdervalley.com and hodgdon.com both have H4831 in stock right now if you aren't looking for the SC stuff. I also have some Federal 215's and maybe some CCI LR Mag primers i might be able to part...

    So I bought some land...

I use a dibble bar (jim gem kbc bar) to plant most of my conservation grade replant trees. works pretty good and goes fast if you have someone to put the tree in the hole. a lot slower if you have to do everything yourself. I also use a 3" auger in the cordless drill for some of the trees...

    Silencer Central

One thing I would be aware of is promised short wait times. I know that e filing has sped the process up a lot but when it comes to the government they usually find a way to slow things down. I remember with my friends that ordered from silencer central they were all told they would get their...

    Silencer Central

I've never dealt with them personally but I know a few friends who have gotten suppressors from them. It seems like they can be really slow to submit paperwork sometimes from what i've seen. Not sure if they do batch submittals or if they are just so backed up that it takes them that long to...

Boat Wiring~ Onboard charger and trolling motor

When I redid mine I used a heavier gauge then recommended, I think I used 6 gauge. Solder on connectors and adhesive shrink tubing. I used the forklift style plug in and would never go hardwired or any other style plug after this one. I also used white for the jumper cable between two...

Flying with a fishing rod and camping equipment

I usually take two travel rods with when I vacation in Florida and i always carry them on along with my regular carry on. They fit in the overhead compartment and no one has ever said anything to me. I check the reels and all the tackle though.

    M-14

I never served and have no experience with the m14 but I love shooting my M1A and it is plenty accurate. I used to be decent with open sights but I don’t quite have the skills anymore to really make it shine. That and my M1 garand are two of my favorite rifles. They are heavy pigs especially...

    Christensen Arms

Had a friends factory 7mm rem mag that the bolt would close hard on once fired federal brass only. Hornady and remington brass resized in the exact same setup and at the same time all chambered fine. All brass was fired in the same rifle too.
