    Christensen Arms

I definitely am kicking myself for not picking up a fieldcraft when they were in production. The email actually stated "There are currently no plans to bring the fieldcraft rifle back. Due to the demand of our mk22 contract rifles we had to slim down our rifle offerings." The nosler m48...

    Christensen Arms

I just emailed barrett and they said they don't plan on brining the fieldcraft rifles back anytime soon which sucks. Been eyeing the nosler rifles some but i just don't have the budget for one.

    So I bought some land...

Things i've learned over the years is that not grazing pasture doesn't necessarily make for better deer hunting. It does seem to make for better pheasant hunting though. In one of my pastures i sprayed roundup on the cool season grasses in about a 10 acre area in early may i think it was to...

    Trespass Law Question

i believe the state century code states that there just has to be intent to post it, being signed or not makes no difference. The proclamation stated the spacing of the sign requirements but if i remember correctly the century code said that even one sign on a piece of property is intent to...

    EHD

3b3 has been hit pretty hard. Finding lots of dead ones and trail camera pics are real low. Lots of deer up to close to season start and they slowly started disappearing.

Favorite Gun in your safe thread

My favorite has to be the 1911A1 I got from the CMP. I enjoy 1911’s but when I hold that one i can only imagine the stories it could tell. That or the M1 Garand from 1943. Either of those guns could have been in fighting oversees or never seen action other than training. All my other guns I...

    Shelter Belts

Trees are definitely a love hate relationship with me. Hate the cost in the spring of the replants and all the crap that kills them like winter burn, fire blight, drought, rodents, deer, and just about anything else. It seems like everything is out to get the trees if they aren't planted in a...

    Powder on Gunbroker prices

Looking at the prices of primers I’ve been tempted to dump a few thousand of my surplus but I enjoy not having to worry about if I have enough for the next two to three years and am scared I would be the guy having to pay $200/1000 two years into a Biden presidency.

    .243 question?

The 85gr Sierra hpbt gameking reloads have killed a lot of deer for my family. What a crazy year it is for guns and ammo. Not a box of 243 ammo or many other calibers on the shelves at scheels in Bismarck on Sunday. Luckily i reload and have learned to stockpile some but was looking for a friend.

    Terrova - Flashing F code

Any chance you could hook up any friends trolling motor to your boat to see if it’s for sure the control board. I am in Washburn but my plug is different and soldered in otherwise I would let you hook mine up. I’m sure a guy could rig something up if you wanted though. Quick google search...

    Terrova - Flashing F code

I don’t think I seen anywhere where you mentioned what gauge the supply wires for the trolling motor are either. It sounds like you have the problem narrowed down some but just tossing some other things out there. I know Lund had my rear trolling plug wired in with 10 gauge, which I think is...

    Terrova - Flashing F code

I have a circuit breaker installed off of one of the batteries. I can’t remember if Minnkota recommended it or if I just read i should do it. I think Lund had a factory one installed in the rear trolling motor wiring. I put a big 60 amp I think minnkota one in there now the other one was just...

    Terrova - Flashing F code

I had issues with a cheap auto reset circuit breaker that I was using with my terrova. The thing would work fine until you turned it up high and then would work for a short amount of time like a minute or so then just die, would turn it back on after a short rest and would work fine again until...

    Sierra Gamechanger Bullets

I don’t think the Barnes bullets had really been out for very long when I had my experience so I didn’t really know to load lighter weight at higher velocities. I’ve seen good results from others and the 100gr tsx out of the weatherby absolutely hammers deer and antelope even out to longer...

    Sierra Gamechanger Bullets

I had a really poor experience with Barnes 150gr tsx out of a 30-06 on a whitetail Buck about 17 years ago and I haven’t been able to trust them since. He took three bullets that didn’t seem to expand or transfer much energy. They weren’t the best shots but I have no doubt a standard cup and...

    Sierra Gamechanger Bullets

I have a Sierra app on my phone that has load data for a lot of there bullets. Not sure if I paid for it or not but I don’t think I had to pay. I think it’s called Sierra reloading manual 6.0 or something like that. I noticed Hornady has a reloading app as well, so I just downloaded that as well.

    Killing grass for food plot

i should clarify i don't use roundup I use generic glyphosate like buccaneer or something along them lines, even used the farmworks glyphosate. I also always used hard well water. Its amazing the difference adding a water conditioner like wheelhouse makes. I used to always mix two quarts per...

    Killing grass for food plot

I use about 2 quarts of roundup and 2 quarts of wheelhouse and a little surfactant in my 25 gallon sprayer and try to do about an 1-1.5 acres per tank. I didn’t get very good kill on my plots this year but with it so dry in our parts I don’t think the weeds were very actively growing. Just...

    Anyone grow honeyberries?

The honeyberry bushes I got From lycan we’re excellent looking plants, if they don’t take it’s all on me. Screwed up my back some and haven’t been put to water in a week.

    go to tent caterpillar spray?

I’ve heard of people using tempo, I haven’t used on caterpillars but use it around the house a few times a year for spiders and such. Seems to work pretty good.
