Dont buy a cheap one. I have a tractor supply cheepy on my work rig. I strongly dislike that thing. Thin aluminum i can manipulate with my hands.
I DO like the low profile toolboxes- can actually see out the back window.
Noticed on LOW that a vehicle driving by rustles up fish- the majority of the time. I talked with guides about my theroy and they agreed. Sometimes they make rounds just to stir up the fish.
I will note there are alot of diffefing opinions on this matter. I feel that low hum of a honda...
I've always had trouble with any "hardware" type bino connectors. They just up and disappear ( i lose them in the field).
I just bought a Leupold Velcro tripod adapter for $20- however I haven't used it yet. I let you know in October how it works out.
I would say a guy almost loses fewer fish in the smaller hole, because once in the hole, they cant get turned around if they get off.
But does the fish ever get turned and make it up the smaller holes??? I'm of the school bigger the hole the better.
I gotta admit I'm intrigued by those little toaster engines they're putting in F150 these days. My 2nd car was a Toyota Camry with a 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder. Now Ford is putting a 2.7 liter twin turbo in a pickup. What an exciting time to be alive...
Who has one?
What are they like in cold...
