    For $300, I can build one heck of a rod. It won't say Loomis or Croix, but it'll out fish anything mass produced. If you have an opportunity to take Chuck's class, do so. Rod building is addictive.

    A soil sample will run you about $25. NDSU Soils department can run a test. Go out with a garden trowel, take 6-7 samples at the 0-6in depth. Mix in a bucket and send them a pint of soil. That way you know what the pH is and how much, if any lime/fertilizer you'll need.

    I don't have power steering on my tracked Suzuki sidekick. Turning around in a tight area stink, but other than that it's OK. I'd go DFK hard cab on a side by side.

    I have 2 30in electric masterbuilts and love them. I make 100+lbs of sausage every winter with them and play Famous Dave's on the weekend. I want to try a few BBQ contests this summer, so I'll have to get a smoker that doesn't run on propane or electricity.

    Whats your fav cold remedy???

    Is on NyQuil, as hot of a shower as you can stand for 20-30 min, straight to bed wearing socks, sweatpants, and a sweatshirt. My Old Man always said you have to cook the cold out. I do this when symptoms come up and Farley go more than a day or two of being sick.
