    Boat Radio Bezel

Lots of round ones on crutchfield. Just look up marine radios, kicker, clarion, jbl, and several others with round mounting. FYI, the kicker has a square face plate but has a round mounting hole.

    Vacuum sealer recommendations

I know this is an older thread but after owning several various Foodsavor vacuum sealers, including a some of the their better ones and always let down with them after a year or two, I finally got fed up and bought a LEM MaxVac 500 about a year ago. We primary use ours for fish and wild-game...

    Scheels brand rods warranty

Bingo Davey! I'm willing to bet abuse is probably the main culprit with rod breaks. Not saying anyone does it purposefully, just the typical bouncing around the boat/truck, occasional snag in the rod holder, accidentally stepping on them, the occasional love tap against the gunnel, net, or...

    Scheels brand rods warranty

You guys must be setting hooks on way bigger fish than I catch because I can only think of one rod in 30+ years if fishing that legitimately broke without prior abuse, misuse, being slammed in a tail gate, or something similar. And that single rod that did break was my sons youth model...

    2020 Open Water - I'm Ready...Already

New boat last year and it’s ready to go and so am I. Fully serviced and detailed. Added a set of Zipwake interceptors over the winter and made a few small equipment adjustments. Have one new live bait combo, 4 new trolling combos, and more $$$ in cranks and other misc tackle than I care to...

    Gee Loomis...

It's been a while, it used to be the policy...........Heck, I don't even have a loomis any more (see previous post about "never to be seen again") so much for that I guess. My mixture of scheels, cabellas, browning, st croix, and mics fenwicks in the rod locker probably isn't a bad thing, I have...

    Gee Loomis...

Doesn't hurt at all, you send them the handle and they send you new rod! That is one of the benefits of a Loomis. It's a little like a vortex scope in that regard.......................... What hurts is when you drop it in the lake never to be seen again!!!!

    Custom Boat Cover

X2 for Custom Camvas. Had one made for my old 1895 Yarcraft Storm back in 2010 or so. Very nice custom tarp. Atleast 2 of my friends had them do there’s after they seen the work he did on mine. Have you tried checking with warrior? If the V2121 hasn’t change dimensionally on the exterior much...

    Portable Grill Recommendations

Used to burn through one of those el cheapo's every other year because, well I was cheap and the Weber Qs were over $200. Hell, I hardly spent that on our full size! End up using a buddies Weber Q after I couldn't keep my el-cheapo lit one weekend and was greatly impressed with how well it...

    NFL News (Vikings)

I can't believe any team would think Stefanski is head coaching material. His play calling is an albatross. Then again, he's going to the browns, lol. Good riddens, maybe we can get a play caller that knows how to make an adjustment. When pounding the rock doesn't work to open up the pass game...

    If you didn't hunt/fish

For me, definitely Motorsports to a greater extent than what I already do. Likely into some type of racing and auto restoration projects. Also more time sledding out west and almost positively that would lead to a light weight, super charged or turbo’d mod sled instead of my relatively tame M8000.

New Pole Barn is Up - Lighting Suggestions/Options Needed

I will note my pole barn is basically built the same way. 6' pole spacing, rafter spacing at 6' toed directly into the poles, and 2"x6" for all all girters and purlins. I believe the guy that built mine used to work for Goodon also. Putting the rafters on the poles eliminates any roof sag that...

New Pole Barn is Up - Lighting Suggestions/Options Needed

Yeh, I see that now...........think I only read the first page and must’ve stopped not realizing the posts were from a couple months ago and there were two more pages of posts, so it goes as I get older, less techy, and yet do more on my phone, lol

New Pole Barn is Up - Lighting Suggestions/Options Needed

5k-6k LMs isn’t very bright. I have some 8ft single row LED strip lights that are 8,560 lumens and they aren’t anything spectacular. Keep in mind a dual bulb 8ft HO florescent fixture is almost 18k LMs per fixture. It’s the reason I haven’t switched them out of my garage yet, the LED Strip...

    Shock Absorbing Boat Seats

Good point and I know I this was brought up earlier but with the SMs you do have the ability to set the height adjustment separate from the tension. I think the only Air Shock setup that has height adjustment is the Shoxs system however you could almost buy 4 SMs for the price of one of those.

    Shock Absorbing Boat Seats

I think you have that backwards, I can crank my smoothmoves from 0 to full tension in 30 seconds. No digging out and air pump, hooking it up, adjusting pressure, and then putting the pump away. Instead, slide the seat back, crank the handle and slide the seat back forward. After you’ve used them...

    Buying a new gun..Dilemma

How this entire topic as devolved into the merits of the Creedmoor, I find myself doing more and more reading about the various calibers, some that I own, some that i don't, and some I probably wouldn't mind trying. As a man-bun supporter, I've enjoyed the relaxing recoil and great accuracy that...
