    Milwaukee or Makita?

Many assume Milwaukee is better as you seem them more prominently and in more places but as mentioned they’ve pretty much became the new dewalt buying floor space. They’re a good line of tools but don’t think I’d go as far as saying they are better than Makita. Makita is more of a world wide...

    Sakakawea Water Level 2020

Maybe so, but coming out of that record rainfall of sept/oct of 2019, we went directly into a drought that has persisted since. In one regard I could actually argue we're in better shape than we were a year ago as this drought is likely to end and get back into a more active weather pattern...

    Sakakawea Water Level 2020

We are essentially exactly where we were at this time last year. Mountains with just under average snow pack, zero snow in the lower basin, and a lake level with a few tenths of what we’re a year ago. It’s okay, the sky isn’t falling yet, lol.

    Sakakawea Water Level 2020

Just for reference, last year we bottomed out in Feb at 38.2 and peaked at 44.5 in July.

    Newer Chevy center console

That statement sure feels like road-hunting, lol. But in all seriousness, I've had the full flow through center console and console shifter since 2011 on a few different Ford F150s. All I ever do is take my soft case, unzip it 80% and have the case sitting between the console and the edge of the...

    #NoFilter Debbie

Thanks for suckin me in for 30 seconds, a quick scroll through Allen's link gave me enough insight to know I need not tune in! Good glory, listening to that was like fingernails on a chalk board, might as well rub some some crushed glass in my eye's and put me out of my misery. I guess I'm not fan!

    Shop/man cave project

Not sure much work is gonna get done in that "man-cave". Looks stellar though.

    Robinhood App

I completely disagree. A company with a solid balance sheet isn't going to be destroyed from short sellers. A healthy balance sheet gives them ability to obtain financing and they aren't solely relying on their stock price. The only companies that are going to be destroyed from short selling...

    Robinhood App

I know people are up in arms about these stocks being froze and the general consensus is that it's happening because the "big guy", aka hedge funds, are getting taken to the cleaners by a bunch of individual day traders; But, doesn't strike you that its completely wrong to collude on social...

New Land Bills: SB 2036, 2037 and 2038

I find this extremely hard to believe is the case and likely boarding on the edge of dishonesty to fit his own agenda. just another form of voter suppression "if I tell everyone that they are the only one against it, they might start believing it". Not one other person contacted him urging to...

End of the year, Hunting, fishing or both?

I'm with dirty, sucks that it'll be 9 more months until me and my hunting buddy can chase roosters again. I wrapped up the new years weekend chasing roosters every day. Back to staring out the window every weekend, lol. The bright side, 2020 is by far one of the best "complete" hunting seasons...

    DIY liquid propane transfer

Been filling my 20 & 30 lb tanks for 20-years off my house tank. Works great, super easy and convenient, a quarter of the price of filling in town; really there is no downside other than the stuff stinks when you get it on your hands. I'd recommend good pair of rubber gloves to go along with...

I need a new vacuum sealer.

I will note that I can't comment on sealing liquids so if that's one of your uses, you'd have to check that out.

I need a new vacuum sealer.

We fought the same thing with several "food savor" vacuum sealers. They really didn't do that good of job, I was constantly fighting with them to get them to seal good, to the point I just double sealed everything, and you wasted a bunch of the bag doing this. and then to top it off, it seemed...

    gas grill...

After many grills I finally broke down and bought a Weber after owning one of the Q-series for the camper. Best money I ever spent! It's going on 8 or 9 years and works just like the day I bought it. Starts right up, get's hot quick, and cooks evenly to this day. I do try to cover it but it does...

    New caliber recommendations

Yeh, we got busted and he took a bad off hand shot a running goat at about 150, and hit about 12inch back from the vitals. Be careful what you assume...... - - - Updated - - - This also comes back to what I also said in that same post, I’ll take a 700 yd still shot all day over a 200 yd...

    New caliber recommendations

well, guys that are going to come shoot at the range the day before season starts speaks volumes to the “caliber” of shooters your taking your opinion from. as far as a factory rifle that will shoot to 500 yds consistently, damn near any will do it with any decent glass. Hell I bought a CHEAP...

    New caliber recommendations

Valid points on some of it. Keep in mind the 6.5s do not really start to shine until you get beyond 500yds where the extremely high BC actually makes a difference. Hence, where having the extra case capacity for powder in the PRC makes it a very capable long range gun. Surprisingly, looking up...
