    i bulk up the bait and slow down this time of year - bigger jig with double twister tail and a minnow, or a big gulp minnow... on flat water i'll also throw out a "happy meal" - three minnows on a treble under a slip bobber a foot off the bottom...

    i too am in the market for some new glass and didn't want to hijack the other thread... my problem is that i have astigmatism, and taking my glasses off to look through binos is not an option... anyone have a glasses friendly option in the $500 or so range that works well with glasses...
