    We saw the same with pickups all over. There was one Ridge that would have been difficult in places but snow was softer. Looked rough for the people in pickups. First 300 yards on the lake was real rough for us with tracked vehicles.

    Keeping hole open

    I'd try the above options first. Upgrading to a new model I hear is extremely expensive! I wish there was a better way to keep the holes open in the outside conditions. I've never tried the coffee can idea. How do you set that up?
