Honda rubicon for me. Mines carved and will start in winnipeg Temps. Prime the carb 3 times, they have a built in primer on carb, and it starts. Had a cat and it was complete junk. Rubicon is used but not abused and that hondamatic transmission is about the best out there. Those that say...

    Fish House Hitch Dolly

I would look at a a ski from ice castle, as for pulling it with an atv hope your thinking the biggest sxs you can find with tracks. I pull a 12' prairie truck house with a Honda rubicon and it gets a workout with an inch or 2 of snow.

    Snow Plow

I have a straight plow on my wheeler, I would go v-plow if i could do it over. I hate ridges in the driveway and a straight plow just lets it roll off the edges, where a v you can kind of trap it in. That said spend a little more and get a blower for the front and never look back!

    Otter Cabin vs Otter Lodge

I have the lodge pro xt with the swivel seats. Love the room, but it is a little heavy. Also have a canvas craft 6x8 and a clam 2000. Each has a purpose but I find myself leaving the others lately as the lodge will hold all my gear and I can load it and leave everything in it. Never heard...

    Mr. Mom

Auggie just invite grandma over for breakfast every day and you will be fine. Hardest part is trying to do the household chores and find time to make dinner. Grandmas are best imo, they have a knack for it.

    Which GPS unit?

I just used a lowrance h2o, as a map chips is rather worthless from looking at topo maps. Lake lacks structure in a big way. Used GPS mainly to find old spots that produced and to find the truck.
