    2 nights a week, for 4 weeks

Best times are yet to be had. Carry a camera on the youth hunting weekends and get the action shots. Have many nice pics of my kids in the field from doing this. Memories they will never forget are upon them. Congrats to all of you.

    New flip house

Why not just drill a drain hole for water, worked in the Eskimo. I picked up the hyfax, now to dig out the heat gun and get them installed. I will have a piece of carpet in the bottom of the sled just because I hate digging crap out of the grooves.

    New flip house

Stopped into Scheels and ended up leaving with the otter pro lodge for a little less then mentioned above. Scheels in Minot has the clearances for less then anyplace I have seen. Are the hyfax worth the money? I think I'll build my own hitch so,I can get it a little further away from the tow...

Also bench or seats. Like the idea of a place to set stuff, but is it as com portable as the boat seats

How fast does your boat go?

2011 Crestliner 17' Superhawk with a 115 merc 4s, and I can hit 40 on a good day at wot. Usually run about 30 to 32. Easier on the fuel gauge. I'm not loaded light, but I have everything one needs to adapt to any fishing situation. Speeds a blast, but after seeing a few boats that hit dead...

    New flip house

Looking to replace an Eskimo quick flip 2 that the mice got into last summer. Tried the pop up but am not mobile enough. Looking at the otter lodge, but am open to any of them. Not impressed with the prices an any of them so I want to buy once and be happy.

    Whelping Box

I used a kids pool and when the little buggers managed to escape that they were moved into a folding dog pen. The pen worked best because I could pick it up and scrub the floor under it. Put pups in a Rubbermaid tote every night while it was cleaning time.

    6.5 or 5.5 box?

Sounds like the 5.5' bed is more for the soccer moms grocery getting, I thought I needed a truck instead of a Tahoe and white sunglasses type of truck. with that said if you own a trailer or another pickup most would be fine. Don't think I'd do a fifth wheel withthe 5.5' bed, not enough room...

    6.5 or 5.5 box?

Ji have the 6.5 and buddy has 5.5. Hands down the 6.5 is the better option if you use it for a truck. Hunting trips the extra room is a plus. 26 gallon tank is standard on Ford the 36 is an option. I couldn't do the 5.5 as I like the extra room in the topper, plus I can sleep in there if I do...

One hundred miles from home, whoops!!

I would stay and fish, but I wouldn't have the confidence I would have with the flasher.

    Vexilar Comparisons

Have 2 18's, just don't see spending the extra coin for what does exactly the same thing. Buy the 18 and use the extra cash for a handheld GPS and chip. Use the GPS to mark spots in the summer to go back to in the winter. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.
