    Mid winter blues...

    Cabin fever is definitely starting kick in. I am going get as much ice fishing in as possible, but this warmer weather has me wanting to camp and fish out of the boat. I'm crossing my fingers for a super early spring.

    I saw bigfoot on the north shore of Lake Tschida years ago. I can't remember the year but it was during a blizzard in June. Some friends and I were out fishing and trying to find our way back to the boat ramp when we saw it.

    As I've gotten older I don't drink as much in the winter months. Look out in the summer though. Every weekend can turn into a shit show in a hurry at the campsite thanks to a bunch of bad influences.

    It's probably a management issue more than anything. If you've ever been to the Rapid City Fleet Farm it is huge and the shelves are full. They had a better a variety of stuff than Cabela's or Scheels. Hopefully they can find good management and enough workers for something that big.
