Lol, had mine pulled today. Got lucky and am feels ng pretty good. Just got done watching The Big Short, it's about the housing market crash, damn scary.
If I was guaranteed $100 a piece and did it full time I could make a very comfortable living. That is untill a year like this, but then a guy could get into snow removal.
The problem with a bounty and this much snow? Snowmobiles, sure they will kill a pile of coyotes with them, but they are also harassing all of the critters you are trying to protect.
Coyotes, fox, skunks and raccoons are all edge predators. Single row tree plantings are like a buffet line. Providing some incentive to plant habitat/tree blocks would be the best form of winter cover.
You'd be pissing in the wind. There is enough snow cover now that planes would be the most effective method. Get a bunch of guys to chip in, get the permit and rent a pilot. Anybody can get a permit, but the rules on staying far enough from residences makes it kinda tricky.
Those things provide absolutely no cover and do almost no good in conditions like these. They need heavy thermal cover, ie. large tree plantings at least 11 rows thick.
Cable devices have evolved a lot over the last few years. I put together a thread explaining what I use and how I build them.
