    Very neat tool

Looks like it could come in handy for an old timer I fish with that takes about 15 minutes, a beer, a sandwich and a pair of cheaters to tie on a jig. Think I'll order him one to try. He's not a fan of pitching jigs in pike infested waters, this could make it a little less frustrating. If it...

    battery powered electric filet knives

Those cordless ones must be hit or miss. I've had both Berkley and Rapala lithiums and both have been pretty shit, been lucky to get through 4-5 18" walleyes on one full charge with either of them. Said hell with them and still fall back on the trusty corded american angler that has cleaned a...

    Cork Handle ???

Did you call Loomis and ask what they'd recommend? They would possibly replace the handle for you and from my experience with them, their customer service is pretty good. If you have to pay more than 20 bucks and the process of doing it yourself takes some time, I'd probably just have them...

    keeping fish alive in summer?

Most beer stores give you a free bag of ice with a purchase. Just buy more beer, than no need to buy ice.

    Water filters for backpack hunting

Best water I've ever had was elk camp in wyoming. Filled my water bottle out of a stream that was running out of a crack in the mountain. Had the same type of water in camp as well, unfiltered mountain water. If it would have been downstream from the herd I suppose it would have been coors light.

    Yeti

These tumblers, how large are they? I'd guess most look like they are in the 16-20oz range? Shouldn't be any drink of that size that lasts long enough to have to worry about ice melting. You can mix 2-3 drinks in a solo cup before the ice is all gone. I second the cooler comment by...

    Muskie in Red River?

Used to get a few tiger's on Devils during the 90's when the water was coming up. Probably 5-6 every summer for a while, haven't seen one in quite a while. Mid 90's I did catch 3-4 pure musky off the dock one night, they were all only about 8-9 inches long. First ones I had seen there and...

How many water bodies have you fished?

ND, MN, WY, WI, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan. Pretty boring list, hard to justify leaving home to fish.

    Bimini Boat shade

We had one quite a while ago for my grandparents as they couldn't sit out in the sun for long periods of time either. I gotta think it was probably from cabelas, it wasn't a bimini top, it was actually a large umbrella that had a mount that connected to the seat pedestal. It actually worked...

    Weed wackers???

I've got the stihl combi. Got the weedeater, blower, tiller, hedge cutter (which works awesome for cutting tall grass and brush too), and the pole saw attachment. Motor runs great, little spendy to get the motor part, but all the attachments seem reasonable and take up much less space than...

    ND zebra mussels

Are people that are double dipping and taking home dozens of fish over their limit going to give a shit about cleaning their trailer or draining their livewell because the law says they need to? Especially now that we are starting to see a lot more of these people in DL with boats. I'm all for...

    Spirit lake Walleye classic.

Chamber, small tiller on flat bottom duck boat, took it across 281 last year in the chamber. Had 2 beautiful, wind free tourney days last year for the chamber. That road doesn't have any water on it this year, so that option is now out.

    Florida shooting.

I wonder how many LGBT people will still be pushing for inclusivity, equality, no profiling, etc. now??? Dumb bastards liberals are getting what they asked for. Too bad obama will blame it on something else and the elephant in the room will be avoided again. Lets let some more terrorists out...

    Spirit lake Walleye classic.

35yrs??? Low 30s used to top 5 the chamber when i started in the late 90s. 4lb avg would top 10 any 2 day tourney in DL in past 20yrs. 50lbs of walleyes is nothing under 25" for the weekend. Raise your hand if you've done that on any 2 consecutive days ever on a ND lake. There are plenty of...

    ND zebra mussels

Great lakes and Lake Winnipeg both are full of zebras, giant pig walleyes caught there all the time. No stinky algae bloom every summer. I guess i don't see a problem...:;:stirthepot::: (kinda, just something to think about)

Ha, that's exactly what I got my wife for our sixth.

    Prop repair

Devils Lake is going to eat a lot of props this summer. Stainless will cost quite a bit more than aluminum to fix and you may very well notice a slight decrease in speed after it's fixed. Had one fixed last year that I took a few small dings out of each blade, got it back, looked brand new...

    Canoeists headed to Hudson Bay

Interesting adventure, could get pretty sketchy once they get up into manitoba, once you get north of lake winnipeg, civilization ends and they still have a long way to go from there. Can't get dairy queen or pizza ranch anymore, cell service and charging devices out of the question as well...

Allowed to shame people on here?

Haha, I was going to make a sparkly boat comment as well.

    length of battery life fishing

Need a new battery. Get a portable jumper to have with, they make little lithium ones that are about the size of a phone. Also a pair of jumpers to reach your trolling motor batteries. If the battery is in good shape, you should be able to fish for an entire day and not have to worry about it.
