    Martin update. They visit my house everyday for the last 4 days, usually around 8am. There are 16 holes. Sparrows are nesting in 4ish.     This house was in my neighbors yard for the past 20 years. Moved to my yard 40 feet away this year. Martins nested in it every year except last year. I think because it hadnt been cleaned for 5 years and the sparrows filled it up. I cleaned it out of course.

    Thanks. Always a challenge figuring out a way to lower them. I put a 200+ lb counter weight on the bottom so I can just pivot it down. Course the house will tip sideways so I won’t do it during egg season. Will see how it works over time. I can’t take credit for the house, a friend built it...

    It's the kids that don't do anything in high school other than sports, clubs and video games that don't know what they are interested in until they are 22. I agree that parents need to find ways to give their kids samples of life to see what they are good at and what they are interested in...

    At what age does the average person know what profession they want to pursue? Pretty sure most do not know in high school. Many guess when they are a senior and then fine tune their decision in college. I do agree that college should not be the only path to success and that learning a trade...

    This 100%. There is no shortage of boats in the area. Just be patient and pull in behind one that is flying down the river and save the trail for next time.
