    What a tragedy. Even if she was carrying a pistol I doubt that would have helped. I think a dog and a shotgun with buckshot is the only option to help stop an attack like this.

    I think modern equipment can hinder success at times. For example I’ve seen guys with tv sized fish finders that will sit and sausage finger buttons or touch screen all day instead of concentrating on your rod.
