    I install a decent amount of vinyl plank. I always recommend at pad. Makes the floor quiet and helps a little if your floors are not perfectly level.     Take it back and have them warranty it. Definitely something wrong. Milwaukee has a great warranty they dont give a shit how you use your tools. If it's been under 5 years they will fix it.

    Could of got a lemon. That drill has 1200ftbs of torque. I ran the model that had 700ftlbs and did the job but was a little under powered.

    I'm guessing you had the lowest torque model they make. I beat the shit out of mine and have never had a problem. I mix sheetrock mud and concrete all the time and run the kdrill. I've drilled in 30 inches of ice and never had a problem.

    Yes X10. Makes it easier to hold I drill straighter with it. Can put your auger on its side in water and not have to worry about the drill getting wet. Reduces torque on the chuck.
