    I agree, there are a lot of people who take it but have no intention of ever setting a trap. But they learn a lot about animal behavior and things to look for when they are out hunting with their dogs.

    They are smelly, I have mine in a cabinet outside. I've done a pile of coyote and beaver skulls. I've tried doing smaller walleyes but they didn't turn out, too many small bones that the beetles carry around. A larger northern or walleye would be better. I haven't gotten a large enough...

    I have beetles and I would do it for you but I would like to have a non-trophy to practice on first. I would hate to ruin one for somebody without first doing one of my own to see how it goes.

    If your trapping them just to trap them, now is as good as any to start. With the warm weather they arw out. If you are hoping to make any money you will be disappointed.

    I will be there. Going a few days early to meet up with a few guys in Billings for some fishing on Peck. It will be a good time with more great information than a person could possibly soak in. I'm looking forward to meeting up with the guys I met in Sturgis last year.

    Fox are usually pretty timid, there are pretty easy to get ahold of. A light tap to the nose renders them senseless for a few moments too.

    Eagles, they always eat out the liver first. If it were coyotes that leg bone wouldn't still be attached to the hip. I've never seen anything eat on the nose like that though. Fox pick up the skunk smell from dens and getting sprayed, coyotes and fox both love skunks.

    Coyote lottery?

    The biggest hurdle with any bounty is proving where the coyotes come from. I would love to add an extra $40 onto the amount I sell my coyotes for. However, I certainly don't want my tax dollars paying the bounty on coyotes from all across the country.
