The last several years I've done better on the middle sale, only because I'm shipping better coyotes that time of year...

    I have 18 on this sale. The first sale of the year always has the fewest coyotes. The last receiving date was December 15th so it's hard to get much put up by then. The March/April sale will be the big one with around 100K coyotes.

    Coyotes $0-$60 on the carcass, average probably around 25-35, and you won't need all the fingers on one hand to count how many they pay 60 for. I wouldn't take less than 80 on anything put up that's decent until after the first auction at the end of January. Actually I would take $75 nose count...

    In the history of killing coyotes a bounty system has never worked to eradicate coyotes. Last year I killed just about 100 in an area of about 40 square miles, look at it this year and you wouldn't think I killed a single one. Kill a bunch one year and they will just have larger litters next...

    Something about this seems fishy. To inform the employees before announcing it to the public could be considered insider trading. The employees could easily tell everybody they know to sell theIr shares before the public would have a clue.
