    Flathead Catfish in ND ?

Ive caught 2-3 blue cats in the tailrace, but not since the late 90s/early 2000s. Havnt seen any credible evidence of flatheads in ND yet.

    Nazis in South Dakota

I've noticed all this bullshit getting pumped hard into my Facebook feed lately. It used to be just things I was interested in, fishing, dirty jokes n beer, funny memes, and nerdy science shit. Now it's constant black culture, transgender, Palestine/Israel, and my cool science pages I used to...

    Bunk Board Replacement

I used 2x6 green treat (made sure to select pieces with no knots), stainless bolts, and outdoor carpet from menards and attached it with adhesive and stainless staples. did this about 10 years ago, still holding up well.

    Creek chubs for sale

5 bucks a piece at the boat ramp, tournament morning, just make sure your bait license is in order.

    Creek Chub?

Call me full of myself, but I'm pretty sure no one has caught as many 10" creek chubs as myself on this web page, and I can tell you it's maybe 1-2 per year. That's like asking for 14 pound walleyes for bait.

    Any Birders here?

Anyone in the turtle mountains still see pileated woodpeckers? Maybe I got the name wrong, but they're the big ones, black n white with the red Mohawks, like really big, crow size. I used to see them up the bow hunting when I was a kid

    Carp in the Mouse River

Yuk...maybe buffalo tastes better if I age it for a week, but springtime cold water, bled, cleaned and eaten same day was disgusting. common carp was actually pretty good, definetley edible.

    Carp in the Mouse River

Honestly, I think the primary use for buffalo commercially is for crawfish trap bait. I just dont see how anyone could think that meat tastes good. it had the consistency of that fat jelly that forms at the top of gravy in the fridge, and tasted like day old dead minnows pureed in a blender...

    Carp in the Mouse River

Ive tried it, actually pretty decent, not fun or easy to clean. I gotta taste test every fish specie at least once. so far the only specie that absolutely failed a taste test is bigmouth buffalo, its inedible

    Carp in the Mouse River

Caught this guy below the dam at the Roosevelt Park zoo with my bare hands, seen a couple dozen more swimming in the fast water. Seems odd they were all the exact same size. I saw one in the same spot 2 years ago and just assumed it was a wash in from the flood. anyone else seen or known of...
