    Snowpocalypse

And the next run shows barely anything in the same timeframe. Pretty bleak for moisture it looks like.

    Snowpocalypse

The GFS has had storms for us late in the run all winter. But they never pan out. One of these days one will. We need it.

    Sakakawea Lake Level

Thanks Allen. Oahe link available? I tried using the links to find the source but was unsuccessful.

    Sakakawea Lake Level

Does nobody remember 1570 on Oahe in 2007? I sure do. Anyone have a link to historical reservoir elevations? I’ve looked and can’t find a good site.

    Sakakawea Lake Level

Their projections this month aren’t pretty. I don’t see how we meet basic conditions with little snow out west. https://www.nwd-mr.usace.army.mil/rcc/reports/pdfs/ResFcst_2.pdf

    Sakakawea Lake Level

Lower basic puts Sak at 1832 end of June. Oahe at 1589 end of September. Very likely I’d guess!

    Ukraine Funding ?

I personally think Ukraine will be the turning point in which the US loses any remaining title we have to "superpower of the world". Not that Ukraine was winnable from the get go, but it has shown the world that the US and its allies really can't stop even roughshod Russia from doing as it...

    Side Imaging Graph Options?

I ended up getting a Garmin. Since my Helix units are old and not networking compatible I was open to other options. Maybe all the Garmin folks will be selling their 32 live scope tranducers in a few years too. I’ll be about 10 years behind the sonar trends lol.

    Side Imaging Graph Options?

Going to update my main graph this spring with one of the sales going. Stepping into the new century. Looking at a 9” unit, currently have Helix units. Will keep them and am not tied to any brand. Not really concerned with future live imaging, just want side imaging. I like ‘Bird mapping...

    Tech schools and college ND

Two year degrees, and even one year and certificate programs, are the real deal today. That isn’t saying the right 4 degree isn’t worthwhile too. Kids need guidance in choosing the path that suits their strengths and interests. If they’re willing to work, they have a future.

Well this isn' good for anyone

Criminally liable isn’t right. But there needs to be some parental responsibility here. It’s no different than parents providing booze to kids and then an auto accident happening. The parents provided something the kid legally can’t possess, which then caused harm to others. Should they get...

    Boat Cover

What's the going rate for a custom cover up there? I'm in SD and am getting quotes around $1200. I was expecting 800-1000 so was a bit surprised by that. This was the most recent boat cover thread I could find! So bringing it back!

    Anyone know what these are?

Only the aftermarket frammis rods are capable of the full 720 degree movement. Crappy stock ones only do around 650 degrees total. Big upgrade if you’re using them in a performance application.

    Project ideas for a 13yo

I'm a fan of 3d printers. A computer with some free basic 3d modeling software and it is incredible what can be created. Kids love it usually.

    Property Tax Petition

Unquestionably this has and does occur. I don’t know specifics of course. It just doesn’t always equal out when you lose kids is my point. Or gain and overspend then just hung out like this.

    Property Tax Petition

No, not really. 100 kids split up amongst 13 grades is 7 per grade level. That probably one kid taken from each individual elementary class. So it’s not like you can cut a whole class based on that, or really much for support staff. The lights and heat costs the same. Now, if this happens...

    Electric Vehicles

I’m for the development of the technology and if you want to buy one more power to you (pun intended). The bigger limiting issues to me is the grid. We are old and outdated as it is and simply don’t have the capacity to charge all the vehicles. They say that a full truck stop of Tesla semis...

    Electric Ice Auger Recommendations

Dirty ice issues would be the reason to run the k drill. I’ve been told the k drill eats more battery than all the other alternatives. But I’d like to know too if it works.

    Electric Ice Auger Recommendations

I got my 24v late last season for less than the Dewey’s price from Reeds. $240 I think. Good sales on the SM augers right now till end of season.
