    I would venture to say that coyotes are way harder on the overall deer population in the state than mountain lions. And by that I mean fawns. Want to help deer? Shoot as many yotes as you can! Oh and plant some trees and crp! Haha. :::

    I think many don't realize that there are people who have to put THEiR own life on the line should something happen out on the ice. Accidents happen. No ice is ever safe, but with the mild winter and warm temps with wind, there is no reason people should be driving on ice in central North Dakota...

    Yep, have caught larger eyes via a tipup. Wish it didnt have to be that way (would rather catch on jigging rod) but sometimes, the tipup is killer.

    Thanks for the help guys. A few more questions. Do you leave your generator exposed out on the ice all the time, or do you try and shield it somehow from the elements. I've heard of wrapping a rug around it (not the exhaust obviously) to help with blowing snow, etc. Anyone do this or something...
