    Love this time of year! Had fresh walleye, garden salad, fried potatoes, fresh bread, and pickled some kohlerabi and radishes today. Now having a drink watching the storm. I am glad this guy is not in a camper right meow.

    Between the pleasure boats, pontoons, jet skis and guys like that, that's exactly why I don't fish the river near Bismarck very often. Especially after the 2011 flood. Not as many places to fish anymore. But that pick of him with a snag is awesome. Too bad he didn't break his pole in half. Haha!!

    Ramp is good. My dad talked to a guy that said this last Wednesday or Thursday some ice broke loose north of the ramp and caused a ruckus for the boats that were fishing that day. I guess two big sheets floated down the river by the ramp and guys had to go up north to get their boats loaded...

    I am honestly surprised the record has not been broken. I once found a dead 10lb walleye on a very small lake in central North Dakota. Makes a guy wonder where the next record piggie will come from.
